i downloaded eset smart security home edition 32 bit. now it never updates but shows last update date as 12/25/29055!!

Ok so i downloaded it, put a serial in from your website and then after a few days it tells me its expired, so i went and put a new one in and it was fine until it did the same thing a day later. now when i put one in it says license expired, and the expiration date was 1969 haha. ive uninstalled and reinstalled the older version, as well as the newer version and it still says license expired. what do i do?
